Welcome! I’m Katie Newland and i am glad that you want to learn more about paw delight designs. Feel free to call me Katie and i am a self taught artist from Milton Keynes. I enjoy creating art and crafts for you.
I enjoy being creative in various forms of creativity such as drawing with pencils, painting and writing stories from my imagination. Creativity has been apart of me since my school days, for many years drawing, painting and writing has been my hobby.
It was when i had been creating card designs for family and when i revamped the cushion design that i had made in high school and got compliments on when i came up with the idea of starting up my own business. That was a few years ago now, i waited a few years so i could work on improving my skills and knowledge so i can create quality products for you.
Meet Paw Delight Design’s mascot Astra
Astra is my childhood cat who is a tuxedo cat, she is the best companion a girl can ask for. Astra was born in the house i live in; her mother was a farm cat who my parent’s cat Henry at the time let the mother have her kittens in the house despite the mother not living there.
Unfortunately, i lost Astra in 2013, she didn’t have the name Astra when she was alive, she had a different name. I made my childhood cat the mascot to honour the strong bond i had with her; i went with the name Astra as it means star and fitting with her looking over me.

Creativity
Creativity is one of the values i believe in and integral for this business as creaivity is more than just writing, drawing, painting creativity in itself enables different ways of thinking like unblocking patterns and habits of thinking that has been ingrained for a period of time allowing for thoughts that don’t follow a straight or logical path. Along the way enabling empathy for people.
Integrity
Integrity is a value that is all about honesty, sincerity and authenticity. With this value holding myself accountable for mistakes i make and admitting them is one example of integrity. Another is respecting people regardless of age is something that is important and i value a lot, being trustworthy which includes being loyal and keeping promises and being willing to put time, effort and energy is important and why it’s integral for me.
Quality
Quality is a value i believe in and essential for this business as it is a promise to you that i will do my best to continue to improve my products i create for you, my customer serive and all products and services that come out in the future.
